Betra provides access to different resources that will assist the doctor and staff to quickly become familiar with the programs and their benefits. When it comes to the actual implementation of the program, including dosing, Betra will introduce you to other doctors utilizing these programs as well as directing you to published medical sources. We are here to assist you in any way, but please note that Betra Medical does not provide any direct medical advice or direction.
We have a team including researchers, MDs and pharmacists who have helped compile needed information from dozens of reputable sources including medical directories. This information is supported and referenced. We also encourage your doctor to do as much research on their own including talking with other medical professionals. (Betra does not offer medical advice related to these programs.)
No, Betra is a marketing company that introduces new ideas to doctors who want to help their patients and grow their revenue.
Betra simply introduces the programs and supplies the medications through licensed 503B fully-inspected compound pharmacies. Though you are billed for the medications by Betra, your prescriptions are processed and shipped from an FDA and state-licensed pharmacy directly to your facility. Betra does not inventory or ship the medications. In addition, when setting up an account with Betra Medical, you are actually setting up an account with our licensed regulated pharmacies through their compliance departments.
Our licensed 503B pharmacies require certain forms and documents including the FDA 503B Agreement and your doctor’s state and DEA license information. Betra collects the information and provides that information directly to the compliance departments of the drug suppliers. It takes approximately 24 hours to activate your account.
Betra has signed agreements with these 503B FDA-licensed pharmacies that allow us to sell the drugs at steep discounts based on the large number of medical clinics we have introduced to the pharmacies. Our volume pricing discounts, and in some instances exclusive arrangements, allow us to sell you the medications at a lower price than if you were able to buy directly on your own.
Absolutely not. There are no fees or costs from Betra. At the same time, you can introduce these programs to your existing patient base to save marketing costs. And though we suggest a small amount of medication to be kept as office stock, your initial purchases can be patient-specific. This way, you are incurring no drug inventory cost.
Betra makes no medical claims but can provide you with detailed supporting information as to the benefits of the drugs and the programs, along with the introduction to some of our clients (medical practices, doctors) who have been successfully working with us for years.
